We have finally completed the water project and handed them to the community. Everywhere we went, the community was appreciative of the work that had been done and expressed their gratitude to Tembo Kenya and the Rotary Clubs.

Shiheri spring was overwhelming with the community having invited neighboring communities and local administration to witness the handing over. Although these are not close, a number of the people talked about how they draw water from unprotected sources that cause them disease.

Nixon is out there visiting springs and some of these might be captured.

We worked well with Nixon and he delivered satisfactory work. I made visits to the sites 3 or 4 times. The road network was quite taxing to my small car as I experienced three tyre bursts and exhaust system repairs.

The support for water is very well appreciated and the communities undertook to take good care of the sites
