PRECEDENT PROJECT SUMMARY

* In 2009, 2010 conceived, proposed and attracted $150k US of funding from the Catholic Church for the project which involved 270 families

* 10 years along and family income from the only cash crop has risen by 400 to 500%, depending on the harvest year.

* In 2019 alone incremental income was 180% of the original project cost

* Village Coffee Farmer Association handling 99% of the ongoing business, so truly sustainable

PROPOSED ROTARY GG

* Initial plan was to duplicate the initial project success with 300 families in a nearby village

* Seven clubs involved including one from Gig Harbour and one from Edmonton

* Delays in Africa Rotary's review has caused loss of $50k US of TRFC funding, so we are restructuring the project to deal with 150 families.
