What a great Rotary meeting today!! The room was filled with chatter and laughter and it was SO great…Ray even had to ring the bell to bring the room to order! 
 
Several special guests (Susan's grandaughter, Olivia, pictured to the left), visiting Rotarians, and a great program.

Today's Program…Beacon Builds!

Michael Shea and Colby spoke to the club today about Beacon Builds -  a community non-profit organization focused on hands-on STEM and learning by doing for youth (typical ages 8-12). They shared their vision for expanding their reach by having an official space to call their own. They want to build a community where anyone can create and strongly believe that opportunities make a difference!! 

Join our Rotary District 7780 Foundation Celebration honoring Veterans, Paul Harris Fellows, service, plus a patriotic USA250 salute!

Tom Talbot from the District visited the club today to share informatoin about the District 7780 Foundation Celebration on Saturday, October 17th, 2p-4pm. Join your fellow Rotarians in the giant Port City Air aircraft hangar in Portsmouth for an afternoon celebrating an array of District 7780 Foundation activities! District Designated Funds, combined with club and individual contributions, will provide two specially trained companion dogs to two Veterans.
