On April 4th we had a visit from Julie Pyon, the Program Coordinator of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley...

"The Big Brothers and Big Sisters Mentoring program provides children and youth with a role model and a friend to talk to and share the experiences of growing up with. Through regular outings, a relationship is developed between the mentor and the mentee, that is built on trust and common interests... the result is a life-changing experience for both the volunteer and the child or youth."
"Mentoring helps kids stay in school, avoid risky behaviour, and experience first-hand the importance of helping others in their community."

A little of your time can change a life.

Be a mentor... Start something.
