Getting There

You'll find this detailed map at the trailhead, located just across the bridge that's known locally as "Burnt Bridge"
The nearest community is Shawnigan Lake, and the main road from the village is called Renfrew Road. This park is located further down Renfrew Rd if you happen to be visiting the Kinsol Trestle also! Please be advised that during active logging times you will only be able to drive as far as the Koksilah River Provincial Park parking lot indicated here with the yellow arrow. The trailhead is easily accessed from the parking lot. From the parking lot, walk over the bridge and head up to the map sign, then turn right, up the logging road on foot (about 100m or so) to the marked wooden staircase on your right. The trail takes you on a loop down along the river, through the woods, and via lovely ascent back up to the road much further up from where you started. Then follow the road back downhill until you get to the bridge across the river and back to the parking lot. About an hour and a half altogether if you pause for photo ops. Sturdy shoes and hill walking experience recommended!
