Club Meeting June 19, 2018
Opening and Welcome: President Dick Kisiel opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance and the recitation of the Rotary Four-Way Test. Scott Seabury provided invocation led the club singing of “God Bless America”.
Members Present: Dale Baker, Gayle Demko, Jed Dery, Frank DiGennaro, Gail Handley, Heidi Huhn Partain, Richard Kisiel, Jon Kozloski, Clark Mason, Karen Mason, Don Miner, Cat Morrow, Jack Muska, Ken Pascoe, Ray Perleoni, Roger Pratt, Charles Roumas, and Scott Seabury. (18/33….54%).
Guests: Welcome honorary member Peter Das and wife Natalie.
Announcements: President Kisiel made several announcements:
- Yard Goat game – great social although the Yard Goats didn’t have a commanding handle on this game!
- Golf Tournament: Please bring in raffle prizes!
-Suffield Rotary recognized with a President’s Club award – for reaching all of the strategic goals set forth for 2017.
PROGRAM: Dick introduced the Strategic Plan for 2018/2019 term. Goals much the same as last year with focus upon two additional goals within Membership and Service categories. Ken Pascoe presented the budget for 2018/2019 which was deliberated. Both documents were approved by the club members.
Blue Ticket Winners: Congratulations to the Blue ticket winner Ray Perleoni with a side won by Jed Dery.
Queen of Hearts: Jon Kozloski had the winning red ticket but did not select the Queen of Hearts. Total winning pot now stands at $405+.
Birthdays and Anniversaries: None
Adjournment: Richard Kisiel closed the meeting with the song “My Country Tis of Thee”.
