Jon thanked Gordon Stagg for his fundraising efforts and Jay Presser and Charles Roumas for their raffle donations.  Jon is encouraging members to collect at least one gift certificate for the raffle.  Wine collection has begun and player registration is on track for a good turnout.  Natalie will rally the Interact Club for their help.

PROGRAM:  Evan Mankouski is a Suffield High School co-president of the Rotary Interact Club, member of the Student Senate and an Eagle Scout candidate.  Evan’s Eagle Scout project is the construction of a Gaga Dodgeball pit at Sunrise Park.  This game is very popular as it is played with a ball constructed out of a more friendly material than the typical dodgeball.  The octagon pit has walls 3’ high and is 18’ in diameter; Evan has laid out the pit and is joined by his friends in clearing and leveling the playing area.  Evan is seeking financial assistance for the lumber required to complete the walls.

Evan reported the Interact Club thanks Rotary for the tee shirts which they wear with pride.  They appreciate the increase in communication over the past few years and look forward to working with the Rotary as needed.

Blue Ticket Winners: Congratulations to the Blue ticket winner Gordon; with a sides won by Charles and Heidi.

Queen of Hearts:  Jackie Hemond had the winning red ticket but did not select the Queen of Hearts. Total winning pot now stands at $473+.

Adjournment: In lieu of a closing song, a donation was made to the general fund.
