The 1440 meeting of the Rotary Club of Sooke was brought to order by President Margot Swinburnson at 12:15pm.

Robbie Burns Day was celebrated with the Piping in of the Haggis after which David McMillan offered an address to the Haggis.
After lunch Jeannette introduced David who then shared some very interesting stories of Robbie Burns life. The who and the why of a man who died 250 years ago and is still so widely celebrated and recognized world wide.
After Steve Knoke thanked our guest the meeting was adjourned at 1:21pm.
