July 31 Program

Jacob Pierson, “a really cool guy who likes science,” is the Innovation Manager with Cleveland Clinic. Marshfield Clinic’s Applied Sciences  has joined forces with Cleveland Clinic Innovation to form Healthcare Innovation Alliance.  

Jacob’s presentation on July 31 included a brief history of scientific innovations that were instrumental to modern day medicine. He also introduced an initiative called Lemonade Day, which targets young people and exposes them to entrepreneurship. Jacob hopes to work with others in the Marshfield area in an effort to bring this mentoring opportunity to children in our community on May 3.
