Vanessa Loera selected as December Rotary Junior Wheel

Fort Morgan Middle School eight grader Vanessa Loera has been selected as the December Rotary Junior Wheel.  Vanessa is the daughter of Maria and Fransisco Loera.Image
 

She has a grade point average of 4.0.  It is Vanessa’s goals to graduate high school with a 3.5 or higher GPA, and attend college at Colorado State University or Denver University, where she can pursue a degree in the Social Sciences.

 

Vanessa was the Student of the Month at Baker Central School. She was Student of the Year, and she has been awarded the Principal’s Award.  Vanessa is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and she is on the honor roll.

 

Vanessa plays both club volleyball and club basketball.  She dances at Candy’s dance academy. She plays basketball, volleyball and track at Fort Morgan Middle School.  She is a member of Gear-Up, and she participates in Battle of the Books.

 

Vanessa volunteers with the Community Turkey Dinner, May baskets and Adopt-a-Family.
