The Rotary Club of Fort Morgan service theme for the month of March had to do with something green. Rotarians were encouraged to bring printer cartridges or other items that could be recycled. They were also asked to look through their drawers to find any used eye glasses that could be donated to the Fort Morgan Lion's Club at their joint meeting in early April to honor the Fort Morgan High School National Honor Society members.

Rotarians are known for promoting service both in their community and world-wide. This year the Fort Morgan Rotary Club has chosen to focus on a different theme for service each month.

January was Warm Their Hearts, where club members collected warm clothing to donate to Caring Ministries.

February was focused on collecting food for Caring Ministries, particularly boxed foods and toiletries.

March was of course green and focused on recycling.

April is Support Our Local Pets month and Rotarians are encouraged to bring supplies to donate to the local Humane Society shelter. The shelter is looking for the following supplies:

Dog and cat food, dog and cat toys, dog and cat beds, dog and cat carriers, collars, leashes, laundry detergent, bleach, Pine-sol, kitten food, kitten milk replacer formula, kitten milk bottles, non-clumping litter, animal treats, blankets, towels, grooming products, dog and cat brushes, and pet shampoo.
