Fort Morgan Middle School eight grader Tyler Christiansen has been selected as the January Rotary Junior Wheel. It is Tyler’s goals to carry a 4.0 average this year, to get Advanced on all of his TCAP tests, and to get an academic scholarship for college.  Tyler aspires to be a veterinarian locally for small or large animals.  An alternate profession would be marine biologist.

Tyler is the son of Jodi and Eric Christiansen.  He has a cumulative GPA of 3,88 and he currently is maintaining a 4.0 GPA for the year.  He would like to attend either University of Miami, CSU, or Duke.

 

Tyler has been on the “A” honor roll, and the honor roll. He volunteered selling stars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Tyler is a member of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and the FMMS Culture club.  His team raised the most money for the 2012 Alzheimer’s Walk for a Cure (Team Jane).  He performs community service with NJHS.  Tyler played football for half a season before being sidelined with an injury.  He plays baseball.  

 

In addition to all his school activities, Tyler is into “technology” and making or listening to music.  He recently started his own DJ business.
