Fort Morgan High School faculty representatives have selected Celia Ruedas as the Rotary Wheel Student of the Month for January. She is ranked 6th out of 192 seniors at Fort Morgan High School.  Celia plans to attend the University of California to study Architecture.  After receiving her degree, she would like to work abroad in Asia through Aecom or Gensler.

Celia is the daughter of Susanna and Luis Ruedas.  Celia achieved 2nd place in the Blue horizons Poetry Contest.  She received the Silver medal at FCCLA State Competition for the event Career Investigation.  Celia is on the Gold Honor roll.  She was a finalist for the Century Link Anti-Bullying contest.  Celia received the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) and attended a week long leadership training  in 2013. She is the President of the Art Club at FMHS.  She is the VP for Public Relations and District Officer for FCCLA.  Celia is an avid participant of Knowledge Bowl, International Club, MESA and National Honor Society.  Celia volunteers at the Academic Opportunity Center (AOC) at Green Acres, where she tutors and helps elementary students finish their work.
