CLUB NEWS
Rotary Foundation

Congratulations to Dr. Russ Stacey for receiving his Paul Harris +7.  He joined our rotary club 23 years ago, and has been faithful in serving his club and the community.
Gail Lehrmann is the Foundation Chair for our Rotary  District 5450.  She oversees numerous fundraising endeavors, including Polio. She also oversees grants, the  Peace Programs, Stewardship and the Temple Buell Scholarship.  She spoke to use today about our club's foundation giving.  Our club remains one of the top in the district in Rotary Foundation giving.  "Good Job Longmont Rotary!"

Rotary Winter Warmth Coat Drive
Had a great coat sorting day on November 24th!  A dozen plus Rotarian's sorted coats in preparation for the Our Center distribution day on December 1st.   The community has responded well to our  need for coats and other winter warmth items.  The Longmont Charity Fund donated $2500.00 for the purchase of new coats for children and adults.

The Distribution event on December 1st was a huge success.  We gave away new and gently used coats, hats, scarves, mittens and blankets.  Many thanks to Life Bridge Christian Church who made the shopping experience for the OUR Center guests complete.
