A Message from Roger and Virginia
Every Tuesday around 12:15 pm, the room at Longmont Rotary takes on a specific "buzz." It’s the sound of tables full of laughter, new members being welcomed, and the unmistakable energy of genuine connection. In those moments, we are reminded that fellowship is the very heart of our club.
While we gather to learn from world-class speakers and plan high-impact service projects, it is the spirit you bring to the lunch table that makes it all possible. We continue to be inspired by your willingness to step forward, volunteer, and welcome new faces into our fold. Thank you for the energy and goodwill you bring every single week.

Developing the Catalysts for Peace Rotary International awards up to 170 fully funded fellowships annually for leaders to study at our eight global Peace Centers. These fellowships cover tuition, room and board, and field study, turning dedicated leaders into peace-building professionals.

Weekly Meetings: Every Tuesday at 12:00 PM. Who are you bringing as a guest this month?
Our noon meetings are in-person and a buffet meal is provided. Lunch is served at 12pm. The actual meeting starts at 12:30 and ends at 1:30 pm.

We are saddened to share the passing of Andres Pablo Puky, who lived a remarkable life devoted to his faith, family, and service to others. He is survived by his wife, Silvia Wust, his children Carla, Tomas, and Irene, and his beloved grandchildren.

Getting to know the person behind the badge.
The Rotary "Aha!" Moment: "I’d known about Rotary through my grandfather, but the moment I heard everyone recite the Four-Way Test at my first meeting, I knew in a flash this was where I belonged."
The Four-Way Test at Home: "Applying the Test to my kitchen is a challenge! Is my strict gluten-free menu 'fair to all concerned'? Maybe not for grain-lovers, but I build 'goodwill and better friendships' by being such an amazing cook they don't even miss the problematic ingredients!"
Hidden Talent: "I’m a serial crafter. I love figuring out new art processes myself—my home is a gallery of 'shiny new projects' I’ve mastered and moved on from."
The Dream Dinner Party: "I’d host Betty White, Dolly Parton, and my great-grandmother Emma. I’d ask them to brainstorm how to increase joy for our agitated global population. (I’m certain Emma’s solution would involve chocolate.)"
The Longmont Must-Do: "If you have three hours in town, we are going to brunch at Lucile’s. It’s practically a family law. Order the beignets and the spice tea!"
We are seeking 5–10 Rotarians to join the Silver Creek Leadership Academy (SCLA) for their annual retreat at Silver Cliff Ranch in Nathrop, CO. This is a powerful opportunity to shape the next generation of ethical leaders.
Your Role: Lead interactive workshops focused on the Four-Way Test and share the impact of Rotary’s global service.
The Experience: Connect with students in a beautiful mountain setting featuring cabins and hot springs.
Requirement: All participating Rotarians must complete a district background check.
