Dr. Reynaldo L. Martinez Jr is Emeritus Professor in the Department of Adult and Career Education at Valdosta State University (VSU) in Valdosta, Georgia.  Dr. Martinez served as department head and professor while at VSU. He also served as a faculty member in similar departments at Oklahoma State University and the University of Maryland.  He holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Vocational Education from Colorado State University with a specialty in Teacher Education.  Prior to his 27 year career in higher education, he worked as a Vocational Television Production Instructor for 10 years at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo High School in Texas during which he earned a Masters of Science Degree in Occupational Education from Corpus Christi State University.  Dr. Martinez earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Secondary Education with certifications in Speech and English Education from Texas A&I University in Kingsville, Texas.  Dr. Martinez is also a former Rotary member of the Frontier Rotary Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
