PRIME TIMERS SEE "FLASHBACK TO THE 50'S"
June 5, 2018
On June 2nd, this group of Prime Timers joined others on a bus trip to Northglenn to hear the Colorado Chord Company perform a great selection of hits from the 50's.  Tunes ranged from "When I Fall in Love" recorded by Doris Day in 1952 to "In My Room" recorded by the Beach Boys in 1963, and lots in between.  After intermission, Maelstrom Quartet, who won the 2017 Rocky Mountain District barbershop quartet championship with the highest score ever recorded for that event, entertained to the delight of everyone.  What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

MARCH LUNCH MEETING
March 13, 2019

Thirty-two prime timers enjoyed a delicious lunch and learned alot from Sheila Gains, CSU Extention Agent, who spoke to us about Nutrition for Seniors.  One of the things we learned was that we should be eating at least 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 cups of vegetables per day.  Fortunately we also learned many different ways to get all those vegetables.

PRIME TIMERS MEET FOR LUNCH AND OSTEOPOROSIS PRESENTATION
October 24, 2016
The third meeting of the newly formed Prime Timers senior activities group met on October 10, 2016 at the Southglen Country club. Twenty nine new members attended the luncheon and presentation by Dr, Marc Garfinkel on" Osteoporosis- what it is and how to manage it." Judging by the many questions asked and answered at the end of the presentation, it is a topic of great interest and concern to seniors. A very nice lunch was provided by club member Jay Zing, owner of Volcano Restaurant in Centennial.
