Club meets at Cherry Creek Innovation Campus

Cherry Creek Schools Superintendent Dr. Scott Siegfried gave the club members an in-depth update on the district which was followed by a facility tour of all the classrooms and workshops.
 
Our Club strives to be aware and part of the Centennial community by meeting away from our normal venue from time to time to better understand the neighborhood we live in. This has included meetings at the facilities of the Arapahoe County Sheriffs, Arapahoe County Library, South Metro Fire District, South Suburban Parks and Recreation and Freedom Service Dogs among others. This week we met at The Cherry Creek School Districts’ Innovation Campus.
 
At this groundbreaking campus, high school students are provided opportunities to gain real-world skills, valuable college credit and/or industry recognized certifications. Whether a students' immediate post-high school plans include college, military or entering the workforce, this campus offers a new kind of bridge to college and successful careers. The curriculum includes disciplines in IT & STEAM, health and wellness, aviation and auto mechanics, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure engineering, hospitality & tourism and business services
