THANK YOU, Rotarian Warren Weik provided insights into the mission and programs of the World Affairs Council of Greater Reading and Rotarian Alex Civil discussed a case study on Haiti and introduced Bring the Change at our Feb. 4th meeting. These outstanding presenters engaged attendees in discussion centered around Rotary's February theme of Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution. Both speakers highlighted the importance of mentoring and educating young people.

FOUR WAY TEST SPEECH CONTEST - FEB 18TH

Join us for an amazing lunch meeting on Feb. 18th to hear students from Conrad Weiser, Wilson and Wyomissing High Schools compete in the Club's annual Four Way Test Speech Contest. The student's speeches apply the principles of the Rotary Four-Way Test to a current ethical issue. Students are challenged to identify a topic they feel passionate about and to adopt a point of view from which they will seek to persuade others.

MEET FELLOW ROTARIANS

We appreciate learning more about our fellow Rotarians during their presentation at our lunch meeting. They engaged in a discussion regarding their professional backgrounds, personal interests, and involvement with Rotary.

Duane Crouse, Director of Development and Chief Business Officer of Scouting America Hawk Mountain Council, discussed his professional experience, family, the significance of his grandchildren, and his reasons for returning to Rotary.

Caitlan Becker, Office Manager at Keystone Specific Chiropractic Center, shared her personal and professional background, covering her family, career highlights, work with children's meditation, and her reason for being a member of Rotary.
