WELCOME to our first meeting of the new Rotary year as we will celebrate with our first club assembly and an overview of the year ahead. You are part of something very special...our Rotary river that starts with the droplets of each member, joining together as the club spring, and continues on to flow as the district streams feed the Rotary river that flows from local, to state, to national, and to international communities in service to others. One of our goals this year is to learn a bit more about the rich history of Rotary. Thank you for all YOU make possible with your membership in Rotary.
Your semi-annual dues notice has arrived. Please submit your dues payment and foundation contribution as soon as possible.
A message from Dave Meas:
I have been asked to work on the Website Advertising this year and want to remind everyone about the opportunity. We currently have 6 ads on the site that rotate as you view and change pages on the Rotary website. The ads are sold as a method to offset the annual cost of the "Clubrunner" that we use to manage and track the numbers for our club. Last year the site was 100% covered by sponsorship dollars and I would like to do the same. The 2 ad sizes are 150X150 mega pixel for $100.00 for the year or 150X300 mega pixel for $150.00 for the year. The ads will run from July 1 2015 to June 30 2016. If you are already an advertiser and want to continue please let me know and I will leave your ad copy up. If you are a new advertiser please email your completed ad to me. I will be collecting the money for the ads so please make out to West Reading Wyomissing Rotary and put "Web Advertising" in the memo line. Thank you and I know that we will cover the costs again this year.

I made the following announcement at Thursday’s April 2 meeting:
I am sad to say that April 30, 2015 will be my last day to attend a West Reading/Wyo Rotary meeting I sold my home and will be moving to California on May 16. My plan was to remain in Berks until the end of my term as President but a recent medical issue with my grandson has changed that plan and my son has asked me to please come to California ASAP.
I will not resign as your president since I will only miss 8 meetings and my term is winding down as President Elect Walt Allen is moving forward with his strategic plan to begin on July 1.
Please give me a call 610.914.2404 at anytime if you have questions.
Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to serve as President.
If you have any past copies of The Rotarian magazine sitting around at home, will you please bring them along to the next meeting? We like to share them with new members and guests.
