Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)
 
  
Camp Neidig (6/17-20/22): our Club sponsored six (6) students.  Rotarians Carolyne Jordan and Steve Burnham were part of the Camp Leadership staff. 
 
 
 
 
Science Technology Engineering Math Youth Explorer Academy (STEM YEA): our Club sponsored a rising 8th grade student from Wyomissing to attend this Academy (7/8-11/22). President Carolyne Jordan did a presentation to the students about how youth can be engaged in Rotary.  Gail Landis was part of the STEM YEA team and worked on fundraising and public image. Tyler Parmer was our Club Rep. supporting school and student scholarships outreach.
 
       
 
 
Host family needed for an Exchange Student!
If you have your Covid vaccines, can pass a background check and would be willing to host a high school exchange student starting in August please contact Carolyne.
 
Grants

Stop The Bleed grant will supply Wilson and Wyomissing School Districts buildings and buses with tourniquet kits along with four local Libraries.  Conrad Wiser Rotary Club is participating in this grant with us to provide kits for their school district.
 
Berks Nature Trees grant will provide trees to replace aging or dying trees for Berks Nature site close to our Little Library.
