CONNECTION

September 2023

2022-23 Rotary International Citation!

Our Club received the most significant award
a Rotary Club can achieve.
This recognition represents our Club's and fellow Rotarians
demonstrated commitment to achieve our goals,
which ultimately helps strengthen Rotary and shape our future.
THANK YOU, Speakers

Rotarian Past DG Janet Kolepp provided an overview of the amazing work accomplished in a two-week trip by a group of women in action as the result of a Rotary Global Grant in Kenya in November 2022 at our August 16th meeting. She shared how this experience had changed her for the better. The presentation highlights the Rotary story of how we can connect, identify community needs and utilize grants to provide services and resources that change lives and communities in Kenya now and in the future.

Rotarian Alicia Ruiz-Orbin from the Emaus Club provided an informative presentation on Sept. 6th about the Best Kept Secret in Rotary: Fellowships. It was interesting to learn more about these programs that globally unite individuals around a common interest, culture, vocation, or recreational activity with the primary purpose to network, further friendship, build community, and enhance our Rotary experience.
