September is "Basic Education and Literacy,"
focusing on strengthening the foundation of learning in every community.

THANK YOU
Sheriff Mandy Miller

We were grateful to have Sheriff Mandy Miller join us on Sep. 3 for an engaging and informative presentation! She shared her inspiring story and gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the vital work of the Berks County Sheriff's Office. From court enforcement to community support and specialized divisions like K-9 and Warrants, it was eye-opening to learn how much dedication goes into serving our community—sometimes even beyond Berks County.

Special thank you to the Berks County Sheriff's Honor Guard who presented the colors at the 2025 Berks County Field of Heroes Celebration!

Denise Lewis

Keystone Military Families volunteer Denise Lewis moved us with stories of hope and resilience, at our Aug. 20 lunch meeting describing how their free pantry becomes a lifeline for military families facing hardship—offering not just food, but dignity and respect. Our Club members surprised her with heartfelt donations to help replenish their depleted stock of coffee, tea, and drink mixes for our soldiers.
We’re truly excited to build on this partnership, supporting future programs and bringing extra holiday cheer to those who serve and sacrifice so much.
