Note From the President: Dear Rotarians,
As I begin my year as President of the West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club, I am honored to serve alongside such a dedicated group of men and women who truly embody Rotary's motto, Service Above Self.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to every Rotarian, sponsor, volunteer, and community partner who made the 2026 Berks County Field of Heroes such an incredible success. Together, we created a meaningful tribute to our heroes while raising funds that will allow our club to continue making a lasting difference throughout our community.
This achievement is something we should all be proud of, and it demonstrates what can happen when we work together with a shared purpose. I look forward to building on this momentum as we continue to serve our neighbors, strengthen our club, and create even greater impact in the year ahead.
Thank you for all you do. Here's to another outstanding year of Rotary!
Jim Milham
President, West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary Club
NEW MEMBER INDUCTION

John Hampson, VP of Membership, and Rotary Sponsor Sharon Levan, inducted our newest member, Chris Behm, into the club on July 15.
GUEST SPEAKER
Our Rotary Youth Exchange Student, Eva Choi, recently shared highlights from her incredible year abroad in Italy. Eva spoke warmly about the kindness and hospitality of her host families and host sisters, who made her feel welcome from the very beginning. She also enjoyed immersing herself in Italy's rich culture, history, and, of course, its delicious cuisine. While she admitted she loves pizza and pasta, she joked that she doesn't want to eat them every day!
The Rotary Youth Exchange Program provides students with life-changing opportunities to experience new cultures, build lifelong friendships, and serve as ambassadors of goodwill.
If you are interested in supporting the Rotary Youth Exchange Program by volunteering or hosting an exchange student, please contact Carolyne Jordan for more information.
