The inspiring Celebration of Heroes Ceremony, held on Wednesday, July 3, included the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, Taps, a Musket Salute, and remarks from Berks County dignitaries and our Old Glory and Stars & Stripes Sponsors. Our participation in the Wyomissing Borough July 4th Parade and Celebration allowed us to promote Rotary and engage with the community. Visitors to the Berks County Field of Honor® could read the dedication medallions and reflect on the incredible stories of heroes in our lives.
We extend our heartfelt thanks go to our Old Glory, Stars & Stripes, Liberty, and Hero Sponsors, all who dedicated flags, ceremony participants, the Wyomissing Parks and Recreation Department (our collaborating partner) and fellow Rotarians and friends of Rotary who contributed their skills and time to make this event possible. Special recognition goes to the Field of Honor Committee listed on 2024 Field of Honor® website page.
