Club Meeting Keynote Speaker September 15th
Kaitlyn Tothero, Communications Specialist from Berks Nature will share how they are committed to improve and protect our land and water resources, to educate our community about land use and its implications, and to connect people to nature. Join us to learn more about Berks Nature a conservation organization that serves Berks County through their conservation projects including land, water, trails, community gardens, education programs, State of the Environment and Eco-Camp. We will have one of our Little Libraries located at their Berks Nature Place and we are planning a family walk/hike to be conducted by Jeremy Haymaker Trail & Preserve Specialist.
Rotary International has set goals to:
grow basic education and literacy;
reduce gender disparity in education; and
increase adult literacy.
September 8th is the United Nations' International Literacy Day we are promoting reading to grow knowledge and self-esteem through our Little Library Project. f you would like to donate books written in English or Spanish to be placed in the Little Libraries contact Linda Mackey,

In Memory of Sharon Rittenhouse
As a singing Rotary we honored Sharon with chimes for the Memorial Service that her family can keep. As the chime states:
We were lucky to have Sharon Rittenhouse as a member of our club and as the District Administrator. She had a passion for Rotary and our club benefited from her desire to serve others. Your sympathy may be sent to her family at 259 Hawkview Court, Mohrsville, PA 19541.
