The West Reading Wyomissing Rotary club agreed to sponsor Emily Jordan for the 2014-15 school year as an outbound student.  She will be living in Sardinia, Italy starting in early September until next summer.  She will study in a linguistics school and focus on Italian, Spanish and English as her 3 languages.  As part of the program, our club agrees to sponsor an inbound student as well.  

 

Kacper Nakwasinski is our 2014-15 inbound Rotary Youth Exchange student.  He is visiting us from Poland and will be attending Wilson starting August 25^th.  Kacper has a passion for basketball and hopes to see a NBA game or two while in the United States.  LA Clippers is his favorite team and Jamal Crawford his favorite player.  He hopes to play basketball while attending Wilson this year, too.

 

Rotary club members are encouraged to take part in the exchange.  If you have the opportunity to include Kacper on some unique or traditional American experiences, please do so.  See Laurie Kercher for a background check form to take him on your own, or invite one of the members or host families who have their clearances to join you.  His first host family is Carolyne Jordan and we are still looking for 1-2 more families in the Wilson school district to house Kacper for the next part of his exchange.
