Short-Term and Long-Term Youth Exchange opportunities available contact Carolyne Jordan
Maggie from Wyomissing Area High School will be participating in the Long-Term Youth Exchange Program. She is scheduled to spend her exchange in Norway. Our club will host an exchange student from somewhere in the world and we will need 3 host families in the Wyomissing school district. Maggie’s parents will host part of the year. We are looking for two other families that are willing to host an exchange student for about 3 months during the 2024-25 academic year.
Rotary Youth Leadership Scholarship - contact Jill if you know of an interested student interested in applying for a scholarship. Both camps are sleep away and require the student to attend for its entirety.
STEM Youth Education Academywill be held at Kutztown University July 11-14, 2024 for students currently in 7th grade. Our club will award 3 scholarships for students to participate in the STEMYEA program. This interactive camp is in its third year and hs rave reviews from past students.
Camp Neidig will be held June 14-17,2024 This is our district’s annual leadership camp for students who are currently a junior in high school. Our club awards 8 scholarships for students to participate in this camp.
