We are thrilled to have Bill Tuszynski as our guest speaker on Jan 15th at noon. He will share insights about ShelterBox and their collaboration with Rotary. ShelterBox believes that everyone deserves a place to call home. It is a human right and the first step towards recovery after a disaster. Shelter is more than just a roof—it's the foundation for life, families, and communities. We will also celebrate our talented and hard-working Students of the Month for January from Wyomissing, Wilson, and Conrad Weiser High Schools.
We had an amazing December lunch meeting listening to our favorite holiday tunes and meeting the talented young musicians of Wilson Southern Middle School's Sinfonietta,
led by Helen Clark.

Children at Opportunity House (Dec. 9)
Rotary members from the Reading, West Reading-Wyomissing, Spring Township, and Fleetwood Rotary Clubs gathered at Opportunity House in Reading, in collaboration with ‘Princess with a Purpose.’ They provided gifts for eighteen children from seven Opportunity House families to select presents for their parents. Additionally, the children received special gift bags from Santa's elves.

WRWR contributed to this float that won Tournament Volunteer Award for the Most Outstanding Floral Presentation for a float under 35 feet in length.

Jill Meade, the Director of Youth Programs, presented these outstanding students with certificates and checks. They were joined by Ryan Giffing, Superintendent of CWASD, and Kevin Weber, President of WRWR, to celebrate their remarkable achievements.

We ask students, from Conrad Weiser, Wilson and Wyomissing to present a speech on what they are passionate about and could they persuade others while answering the Rotary 4-Way Test. These students' topics are always insightful and their presentations impressive.
