It's Polar Plunge week (Dec .6th)- please "jump in" and help or at least contribute!
Jeremiah will provide an update on our service initiatives and role of Service Director.
Also, there will be presentations of special recognition awards.

Polar Plunge Volunteer Workers Needed!!!

Non-Plunger Volunteers!
Help make our 3
rd
annual Polar Plunge a success by volunteering to help (you don't have to be a Rotarian)!
*We need people to help set up, we have a registration table
the money will be turned in at this table
waivers will be signed and the wrist bands will be distributed.
*There will be coffee and hot chocolate free of charge for the plungers so we will need people to man that station.
*Rick will need help setting up the roped off area for the plungers, the stakes need to be in the ground (which is usually frozen)
*Mega phone screamer to announce "Blue Marsh is only cold for a moment!
JUMP!!
" - a presidential duty for the event!
*We need:
6 – 8 spotters (adults) around that perimeter to make sure people enter and exit through the correct spot to help those who are counting
2 – 3 designated counters as the plungers enter the enclosed area and as they come out. Inbound and outbound numbers must match
Cleanup after the event. Plungers must get warm immediately so our cleanup crew is vital!
