Thank You, Speakers

Jim Smith, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County shared how the organization with the engagement of volunteers make a difference in a child’s life today and transform their potential for tomorrow!

Dr. Susan Moyer, PhD, RN, CNE, Asst. Professor at Millersville University, presented "The Importance of Self Care, Helping Yourself So You Can Help Others.”  She shared valuable insights, education, resources, and self-care strategies on mental health and fitness, encouraging us to be aware and engaged. Rotary is a service organization and volunteering is one way to prioritize self-care to benefit our own health and better serve our communities.

Paul Harris
The Rotary Foundation

Rotarian Jill Meade’s unwavering commitment to service and generosity has made a significant impact on our local and global community. She received a Paul Harris Plus Eight from Rotary Foundation Director Carol Mason! This prestigious recognition signifies her personal contribution to The Rotary Foundation’s Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus, or Humanitarian Grants program.
We also celebrated and honored distinguished members in our club Rotarians Carol Mason, Jeremiah Sensenig and Carolyne Jordan who have attained the Paul Harris Plus Eight status. Their dedication exemplifies the spirit of Rotary and inspires us all to continue making a positive difference in the world.
