Our guest speaker will be Dr. Jill Hackman, Executive Director of the BCIU. Join us in welcoming her to our club meeting and hear about the services and programs that BCIU provides to Berks County school districts, charter schools, private schools, and other organizations and agencies that serve children.
I made the following announcement at Thursday’s April 2 meeting:
I am sad to say that April 30, 2015 will be my last day to attend a West Reading/Wyo Rotary meeting I sold my home and will be moving to California on May 16. My plan was to remain in Berks until the end of my term as President but a recent medical issue with my grandson has changed that plan and my son has asked me to please come to California ASAP.
I will not resign as your president since I will only miss 8 meetings and my term is winding down as President Elect Walt Allen is moving forward with his strategic plan to begin on July 1.
