The West Reading-Wyomissing Rotary is a proud Founding Member of the STEM Youth Explorer Academy (STEM YEA) a four-day three-night residential experience for underserved middle school students in the five-county Rotary International #7430 district. STEM YEA provided an overall educational enrichment experience for students to explore, experiment, learn, and engage in new exciting subject areas igniting their imaginations and enthusiasm to learn. The Academy focused on STEM learning activities and the modules are infused with the Rotary Areas of Focus. Students were also engaged in Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) team building and leadership activities.
