I joined Rotary for business, I stay with Rotary to give back to the world and promote peace through friendships. In addition to being a champion for Rotary Youth Exchange, Rotary has allowed me to meet so many people who would not have crossed my life path without it. Rotary has provided opportunities for personal leadership growth and plenty of feel-good moments when giving back. I love the hometown feel of my club and the global reach of the organization.
Getting youth excited about Rotary through Interact and the Youth Exchange program is one of my favorite parts to experience. When teenagers create intergenerational relationships and gain opportunities to learn different cultures (and languages) through Rotary, it creates peace and understanding and makes the world a better place. When I joined Rotary, I wanted to interact with good people in the community. When I became friends with Rotarians I discovered the power of positive people and the results we could achieve together. Rotary has become such an important part of my life. I proudly wear my Rotary pin and encourage others to join and or support their local Rotary. Together we can accomplish so much more.
