GET TRAINED
The evolution of the STOP THE BLEED® program was influenced by world events such as the casualties from tragic mass shootings. There are multiple ways to control bleeding in an emergency, including applying direct pressure, packing the wound with bleeding control (hemostatic) gauze, and applying a tourniquet. However, it is only recently that tourniquets have been re-embraced for their lifesaving potential. WRWRotary has applied for a grant to provide tourniquets to the Wilson & Wyomissing School districts in our Rotary Club's footprint. |

Come one, come all! This is an all ages walk up Cherry Street. We will meet our guide, Mike Miller, on the corner of 4th and Cherry to begin our walk. We will walk to 7th and learn about the history of the murals and learn about some of the artiists who created these spectacular pieces of art. Tour is anticipated to be just under an hour. We will end near 6th and Penn, so consider parking near there and walking to our starting point. There is minimal street parking there and no parking lot available. We will be collecting a free will offering and donating all the monies collected to the Berks Community Murals group as a thank you for the guided tour and in hopes of funding future projects. |
