Meet Elyse Conti and her four-year-old daughter, Colette.....Elyse grew up on South Fifth Avenue in beautiful Royersford...Her Mom and Dad are of German descent....Her younger brother is 31 and Elyse will be 36 on St. Patty's Day!   Interestingly enough, Elyse's Mom was adopted by her stepfather....and only knows that her Mom is German, not the paternal side of her!....Elyse went through Spring-Ford School District....She and I compared notes about some of our favorite people....At the top of her list was Mr. Shaffer, the beloved science teacher....My favorite person is David Willauer!

 

Elyse graduated from Drexel University with a BS Degree in Business with a Marketing major.   During her time at Drexel, she met Chris Conti, also a student at Drexel.   Dating for years, they went on a trip in 2014 to Portland, Oregon and Seattle, WA....while in the International Rose Test Garden in Portland, Chris popped the big "Will you marry me" question, and Elyse said "Yes".....in 2016, they married at the Duportail House in Chesterbrook with 170 guests in attendance to wish the happy couple well.   The new Conti couple spent their honeymoon in Paris, Nyce, Rome and Florence.   Now, these two know how to celebrate!

 

Two huge "life" events followed shortly after the wedding...In 2017, Chris and Elyse purchased their first home in the town of Schwenksville.   In 2018, Colette, their daughter arrived and life changed forever.

 

Elyse and Chris work for Traffic, Planning and Design....she has been with the company since 2012/2013.  She has developed the "job" into a career, now managing the Marketing department with eight people reporting to her!

 

Elyse is very intuned to health and wellness.   She works hard at the Spring Valley YMCA in some of the group classes.   "BC" (Before Colette), Chris and Elyse enjoyed hiking, but, that's tabled for right now.   Both she and Chris are serious "foodies", and enjoy cooking at home, and trying new restaurants.   One of her "go-to" dishes is chicken piccata!  When asked, "what is your favorite restaurant".....the response was Il Granaio, which is a small Italian BYOB in Phoenixville.....Sounds like a road trip is in order!    Elyse enjoys Pinterest and gets a lot of ideas out of the app, as evidenced in her home.   It's decorated beautifully.  

 

Elyse has been heading up Project 143 for five to six years now.  This is the project where "care packages" are packed with food for kids who need help.   This is one of our most needed ventures, and I want to thank Elyse for putting in the work to keep it going.

 

And, I just wanted to thank Elyse for taking the time to meet with me on a Friday afternoon.  I thoroughly enjoyed it!
