Jordan Hodlofski
Meet Dr. Jordan Hodlofski!   One of our youngest members, Jordan Hodlofski has fit a lot of life into his 27 times around the sun!   Jordan grew up in a small town, in Troy, PA, an hour north of Williamsport.....His family consists of Mom, an Irish lass, and Dad who is Polish and from our area!   Jordan has a brother, Wyatt, eight years younger.....Troy, PA,  certainly had that village feel, a place where everybody knows your stop light, one grocery store, and Dad was the Boro President.   During his school years, Jordan's Aunt was his Math teacher, his Cousin was his English teacher in high school, and a family friend was his History teacher....during his high school career, Jordan played baseball....his positions were catcher and second base, as well as playing defense in soccer.   And, in high school, he shadowed an MD/DO (doctor), which shaped his current career path.   Jordan was involved in Interact while in Troy High School, which also led Jordan back to Rotary, and gave him the heart to help the community!   Jordan graduated from Troy High School with a graduating class of 100 people!
In keeping with Jordan's style of "small town", he attended Elmyra College in New York State, and lived on campus.  He played soccer during college as a goalie, and studied hard to earn his B.S. in Biology, loving the experience.  Jordan's graduating class from Elmyra was 200-300 people total!!!!    After earning his degree, Jordan attended New York Chiropractor College for 3 1/2 years....In 2017, while going to Elmyra, Jordan met Alexandria Woodard, his girlfriend, and they've been together ever since....
Since Jordan's Dad was from Quakertown, he decided to explore this area to "plant roots", and Ally decided to join him....Jordan joined Dr. Michael Connelly in Royersford and has been there for 2 years....and Ally does government contract work, dealing with the VA and DOT....The couple have dreams of a family some day, but, for right now they are "cat people", they have a two year old tabby cat named "Mister".   And Jordan and Ally have just purchased their first home in Pottstown, so congratulations are in order!
Dr. Connelly was involved with the Rotary over the years, and advised Jordan to come back to Rotary, from his early exposure with Interact.  Dr. Connelly felt it would be a great way for Jordan to get to know his "community", and we are lucky to have him.  One of the most rewarding experiences is treating someone and helping them to walk again....It makes all of Jordan's hard work worthwhile.   Both he and Dr. Connelly have a thriving practice, seeing 250 patients a day.....a day!
When I asked Jordan what is in his bucket list, he replied, "I am trying to learn Polish!"  He has the desire to travel to London, Germany and Poland in the future.
I learned that Jordan is a "hot wing" aficionado!!!!  Jordan's "go to" spots for the best wings are in Buffalo, NY, at the Anchor Bar or Duffs.....Now that is all well and good, but, maybe a road trip is in order....we may have to go on a wing tasting trip!
When I asked him if he had one wish, he replied, "I wish people were nicer."   I say, let's work on Jordan's dream every day when we go out into the world.
Thank you, Jordan.
