Dear fellow Rotarians,
A special thank you to Gene Krasley for organizing our Veterans Day event. This was our clubs way to show honor and respect to our veterans and for saying thank you for their service. It was a very moving event.
Next week we will be distributing proceeds from our pancake breakfast and wine beer and food festival. We will be sharing $20,000 with 23 organizations.
During the month of November we will once again be collecting food items for Operation Backpack, which provides students with food for the weekend. The suggested food items are as follows: fruit cups and applesauce, Pop tarts, non-refrigerated milk and pudding. The dates will be November 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th. You may bring all items to our Rotary meeting and Elyse and Dan will collect them, or you may take them to Dan’s office, 168 W. Ridge Pike, Suite 202, Limerick.
Thank you to Elyse for organizing this important food collection. We can make a direct impact helping the most vulnerable of children.
See everyone on Wednesday.
