There will be a Community Day this year on Sunday, July 4th in Memorial Park. This will be a big event as it is expected to have large crowds and the great fireworks display will be back. The Rotary will be in the park as usual, but this year we will not be selling Sausage sandwiches. The plan as it stands now is to sell chicken fingers, freedom fries and hamburgers (as St. Luke's is unable to provide enough help to participate this year) and hopefully popcorn. The good part of this event for us is we get to help raise funds for next years fireworks as well as promote rotary and all that we do and provide as well as have a small raffle if we choose to do so to help raise funds for our projects. I don't anticipate having to bring our trailer as all of food and supplies will be provided by the Community Day committee. We will need to supply our own for the popcorn. I hope that many of you will come out and help us put on a good show for the rest of the service clubs to see how a well oiled machine works. This means we will need help throughout the day and early evening hours. Clean-up should be a lot easier as we do not have to pack up out trailer.
Judy Eichorn soon to be Chambers will be the chair for this event. She knows what we need to have a great event is volunteers and good weather. Our own Doug and Kate are running the show for the Community Day festivities. I will ask Keith to set-up a registration event for scheduling of volunteers to work shifts at our tents. I hope a lot of you decide to join us at this great Quakertown event that really does put our town on the map.
I expect we will need a good set-up crew with help starting around 9:00 AM. Once we start cooking the food we can sell it.
Please let Judy or myself know if you have any questions around this event. Stay tuned for the registration sheet for scheduling for that day. We do not need to prep before this event.
Sincerely, George Chambers Jr. |

Please Join us at Giacamo's on Thursday 10/28/21 at 6PM. We will have a fabulous spread of their amazing hors-d'oeuvres and supplement that with what BYOB you would like to provide. It will be so exciting to be able to support the Student of the Month and congratulate them on their achievements, as we were unable to do so last year. |

Because of the spring COVID outbreak, we had to postpone this race until December 4 from the April date as we could not use Pfaff elementary as our base. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Dr. Austim Sedicum, this event is an important fundraiser that supports our youth activities throughout the year. With two water stops and twists and turns on the route, we need a lot of volunteers to support our runners.

Race Starts 9AM
