District Governor Visit

Smoky Hill Rotary Club was honored to host 2026-2027  District 5450 Governor  Cindy Chase. Cindy is a member of the Denver Cherry Creek Rotary Club. Dg Cindy emphasised several points in her remarks. Think out of the box. Rotary need to grow and evolve. She announced that on World Polio Day, Oct 24, the District will hole a cornhole tournament to celebrate. The District Conference will be held on Dec. 5 (a one day affair) in Golden. You can go to the District website to register. Thank you, DG Cindy, for celebrating Rotary's continued mission with us.

Rotary Impact Statement

Smoky Hill Rotarians are making an IMPACT and improving the lives of others in our community by having raised the funds in conjunction with the Aurora Rotary Club to purchase a mobile fire education trailer for the Aurora Fire Rescue.  This trailer will go to schools and have an impact by teaching children fire safety in their homes.  WE are making a Difference!

Kick-Off meeting for the Rotary Club of Heritage Eagle Bend
Our new satellite club will have its kick-off meeting to introduce the community of Heritage Eagle Bend to this different, non-traditional Rotary centered on service projects and engagement.  At the meeting, we will share the vision for the new club, how the flexible model will work and opportunities for membership and engagement.  Rotary members of Heritage Eagle Bend will need to be residents of HEB and will be considered members of the host club, Smoky Hill Rotary, but with their own structure and guidelines.

Hold the Date
Monday, January 11th for the Rotary Club of Heritage Eagle Bend Induction of new members.  Rather than our regular meeting (which was going to be a business meeting) at 11:45 on January 11th, all Smoky Hill Rotarians are encouraged to attend the Induction Meeting at 4:00 at the Heritage Eagle Bend Clubhouse.  We will induct the new Rotarians that will form the Rotary Club of Heritage Eagle Bend.  Let’s make this a special event and give them a Smoky Hill Welcome!!

New Member Induction
Our newest member, Eduardo Manzo, was inducted into Smoky HIll Rotary on September 28 and revived his Red Badge.  Welcome Eduardo!!
