Our next meeting at Meadow Hills is scheduled for Monday, September 26. Please plan to attend in person, if possible. Our speaker and guest is Sarah Thomas from Conifer, an ultramarathon swimmer and breast cancer survivor. In 2019, she swam the English Channel FOUR times in 54 hours! More recently, she swam from North Ireland to Scotland and back! She will be live and in-person on the 26th. I think we will all find some inspiration. Honor her accomplishments by attending the meeting. Or, sign on to the meeting using Zoom.
NEW MEMBER PRESENTATION:
CYNTHIA LOWRY submitted an application for membership at Smoky Hill Rotary. President Craig invited her to attend a meeting and encouraged her to join. Cynthia’s daughter, Hope, attended RYLA a few years ago and enjoyed the experience.
Cynthia lives in Denver, sells real estate and is very interested in our volunteer activities. She participated in the Jewell Elementary “Back to School” clothes event.

Happy fall! And a break from the heat…
I am pleased to tell you that we received all of our brand-new iMacs right at the start of fall session. Students are thrilled to have fast computers with plenty of space to work. They are finishing editing films for our DAVA Youth Film Premiere next Friday.
We can’t thank you enough for everything you and the Rotary did to make this happen. It means the world to our students to be able to create everything they imagine! Please share these photos with the other members, and we would love to have you stop by any time to see the updated lab in person.
