We understand there is concern about finding a meeting venue that fits in our budget and works for the Club. Some Members are eager to meet in person. Once per month, Smoky Hill will plan a “social” meeting. Members may have lunch together but it will not be a formal meeting. The planned next in-person lunch meeting will be Monday, August 30. About half of our members are volunteering to keep the different parts of the Club functioning. We need your help and input. Would you volunteer to set up these monthly lunch meetings? A space in a restaurant that will allow us to order lunch and visit with each other is needed. You would ask the Members to make a reservation and ask the restaurant to make space for us. Everyone orders and pays for their lunch.

Celebration of the Week: International Day of Friendship - Friday, July 30, 2021
The International Day of Friendship was proclaimed in 2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities.
How to Celebrate?
You can celebrate International Day of Friendship by meeting a friend for lunch, attending a community cultural celebration, or simply by sending a greeting card. How about sending to other Rotary Clubs across the globe?
