Club Business-

Golf Fundraiser-
The plans for our August 6 Golf Fundraiser continue to advance. Golf  Chair Gary Frisch has spoken with the golf course and everything looks good. There will have to be some changes to meals, awards and other details, but we can still proceed with a relatively normal tournament. The club board met with Shawn Wehan with Givsum, who will provide much of the technical support for the fundraiser. Registration, donations, sales of mulligans etc. will all be handled online. Smoky Hill Rotary, welcome to the 21st Century. The Golf Committee will meet to discuss putting all of the details in place.

District Conference-
District 5450’s District Conference is coming up on May 7 and 8. It will be a mostly virtual event. You can find more information on the District website. There will also be a Day of Service on May 8 as part of the conference. We are looking into trying to set something up with the Scouts for a day of outdoor service.

Celebration of the Week: April 2 - National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day

How to Celebrate?

Relieve your childhood by making yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich just like the ones you used to eat. A great bit of nostalgia.

You can also try something new, and look up different PB&J recipes that you can make, such as french toast, cupcakes, cookies, pancakes. You are sure to find something to please you!
