Bev was recognized as a Major Donor for her Rotary International donations cumulating to $10,000.  She received a crystal recognition piece, a Major Donor pin and a necklace pendant from Foundation Director, Lloyd Gottman.

 

Smoky Hill Rotary recognized Gail Lehrmann, Assistant Governor for District 5450, for all the support and time she has given us over the past three years.  She has attended and helped at our golf tournaments, Epic Day of Service and many other events.  She has been a great support to the Presidents and President-Elects in educating and answering a multitude of questions.  Smoky Hill Rotary presented her with a $100 Rotary International donation in her name.  Gail is moving out of state and will be ending her role at the end of the Rotary Year.  We wish her good luck in her new home and new Rotary Club.

 

New ADG
Skip Arms from the Rotary Club of Aurora will be taking over Gail’s role as the Assistant Governor for District 5450.  Skip was the President of their Club last year and will be well-qualified for this job.  We are pleased to welcome him to help support Smoky Hill!!
 

By-Laws Revision-  

The Smoky Hill Rotary Club By-Laws of 2025 were overwhelming approved by the Club in an electronic vote.  We received all “Yes, I approve” votes from the members and only had one that did not respond.  Thank you all for responding and thank you to Linda, Paul, Susan, and Gary for revising the old By-Laws.  The Board will be voting on the Procedures and Guidelines that go along with the By-Laws on March 24th.  We will send out a copy after they are approved.  After approval, both documents will be found in the Documents section of ClubRunner.

 

SHRC Golf Tournament
 The 2025 Golf Tournament is officially under way for August 2nd.  Gary distributed brochures and stressed the need to get foursomes registered and sponsors. The tournament will again be at Common Ground at the same costs as last year.
