Club Excellence Award
Smoky Hill Rotary earned the Club Excellence Award for 2024-25. This award is the most significant award a Rotary Club can achieve. Under the leadership of Past President, Linda Forsythe, Smoky Hill Rotarians demonstrated a commitment to achieve its goals, which ultimately helps strengthen Rotary and shape our future.
CONGRATULATIONS to all Smoky Hill Rotary Club members!!
District Governor's Visit
District Governor Cindy Rold is visiting our Club on Monday October 13. Please make every effort to attend as is is always nice to provide the DG with a warm Smoky Hill welcome from most of our members.
Smoky Hill Rotary Cup
The annual Smoky Hill Rotary Golf Cup was won this year by perennial contender and occasional winner Past President Paul Urtz. This year's cup looked a lot like a measuring cup, presumably since all winners are now asked to be drug tested by peeing in said cup. Congratulations, Paul.
FOOD DRIVE for the Rocky Mountain Food Bank
November and February are the months we are designating as contributing food and/or money to the Rocky Mountain Food Bank. Please mark your calendar as reminders to bring in contributions at the regular meetings in November and February.
Thank you to Clay Fell for spearheading this project.
Volunteers Needed for Ronald McDonald
The next time Smoky Hill Rotary will be cooking for Ronald MacDonald House is October 29th from 4:00-8:00. This is a great event and a lot of fun. Talking to the families is immensely rewarding as well. If you can be part of the volunteer crew, please let Linda Forsythe or Betsy Jansen know.
