Golf Fundraiser-
The plans for our August 6 Golf Fundraiser continue to advance. Golf Chair Gary Frisch is working with Givsum to set up the registration website for the tournament. If you have donors from previous year’s tournaments, please contact them to invite their participation. Even if they are not able to contribute this, there is value in keeping our name in front of them for the future.
District Conference-
District 5450’s District Conference is coming up on May 7 and 8. It will be a mostly virtual event. You can find more information on the District website. https://portal.clubrunner.ca/50085 There will also be a Day of Service on May 8 as part of the conference. We are looking into trying to set something up with the Scouts for a day of outdoor service. We have been approached by Denver Northeast Rotary Club about a workday at The Urban Farm on Smith Road for Saturday April 17th. If this is something that interests, you have a very short window to respond, so let me know if that is of interest.

Celebration of the Week: April 13 - National Scrabble Day
How to Celebrate?
Call your friends and play a game or two of Scrabble! Mix it up, too. There are several ways to play the game if you want to change things up a bit. For example, if you’re spending time alone, Scrabble solitaire challenges you at your own game of words. Another version allows players to only play nouns but they earn bonus points for playing nouns that are both a proper noun and an approved Scrabble word.
