Monday, November 8, is a big day for Smoky Hill Rotary Club. You will have the opportunity to attend a meeting in-person. However, if you prefer Zoom, that continues to be an option (see link below).
The meeting will be at Meadow Hills Golf Club, 3609 So Dawson St., Aurora, CO 80014. We have a private room reserved. Plan to arrive at 11:30 am, lunch will be served at 11:45, the formal meeting starts at 12:15 with the Invocation and the speaker will talk from 12:30 to 1:00. If you are a member of Smoky Hill, the cost of the lunch ($25) will be billed to your account. If you are a visitor, plan to pay $25 at the meeting.
The speaker for the meeting is Kathleen Pierz, Rotary District Representative for Shelter Box. Kathleen will talk about the importance of Shelter Box, how it started and why it is widely supported around the world.
Linda Forsythe has applied for membership. She moved to Aurora from California and is retired. Her career was in special education. Linda is interested in the volunteer opportunities we offer.
