Finance Update:
Lloyd Gottman, our Foundation Chair, reported out the Smoky Hill’s Foundation donation Giving Goal for the 2023-24 year was $4,500 and we had actual donations of $6,241.72. Many thanks to all our members for their generous donations. These donations make a real difference in our community and many people throughout the world will have the opportunity of a more healthy, peaceful, and successful life because of our club member’s donation to the Rotary Foundation. Going into the new Rotary year, it is time to review and increase our regular donations!
In addition, we raised $3,150 from the Epic Day of Service to be used for the Fire Rescue Education Trailer.
Recognition:
At the Installation Dinner, Susan Michalakes presented the Rotarian of the Year award to Linda Forsythe for “always stepping up.” Congrats!
