Rotarians completed the installation of bookshelves at Delhaven Community Center.

Member Matt Briglio led a hard working group of Rotarians on Rotary at Work Day April 24th in installing 12 custom bookcases and 85 bookshelves in the library at Delhaven Community Center in La Puente. New books purchased by the Industry Hills club will help fill the bookshelves along with new books donated by the County Library for the project and existing Delhaven stock. Retired Librarian and Member Doris Hauser headed the stocking and organization of all of the various books and reading materials as the final part of the project. Rotarian Pat McIntosh and Kathy from Delhaven worked hard with Doris and were able to file all of the books in the new shelves. The new bookshelves and materials will help that the youth using the Community Center enjoy better opportunities to explore the world of reading.
