- Jeff Emery is the proprietor of Santa Cruz Mountain Vineyard, specializing in pinot noir. He gave us a very interesting overview of the history of winemaking in the Santa Cruz Mountains, including lots of “firsts” in US winemaking that occurred here in the Santa Cruz Appellation. There is a tasting room for his winery on Ingalls St, Westside of Santa Cruz. The main vineyard operation is up on Jarvis Rd in the Vine Hill area of the county.
